As the tree grows, the crown seeks light and the roots for food. The branches point in the direction of the light and lean. In the forest where the tree is home, we can let it happen freely. However, in the public sphere – in cities, settlements and in the backyard – it is important that the environment around us is safe. As cars are periodically inspected, the condition of the trees should be monitored periodically. Trees are growing bigger, weakened by diseases, fungi and rot.
Theme and street trees are in a particularly difficult situation, suffering from salt and sulphide damage and a lot of vibration in winter. They also have to deal with a lot of dust in dry weather.
Urban conditions are difficult for the tree, in some cases even impossible. The lifespan of a tree in a city is often only 1/3 that of its wild relative.
We can call a tree a dangerous tree that, if broken, can cause injuries or property damage – interrupting electricity or communications reaching the consumer.
ArborEst has also invested in the ability to replant trees by replacing the footprint of dangerous trees that can be balanced. The tree crane planter kit is capable of planting woody plants up to 15 cm in diameter with suitable soil and conditions. The planting device is Optimal 1400, which has a top diameter of 140 cm and a depth of 90 cm. The volume of the root ball is 0.63 meters above the ground. The planting device can be used to relocate, for example, woody plants left over from construction or to provide more suitable growing conditions for trees according to the characteristics of the species.
Depending on the tree species, the stumps rot naturally for decades. Some species (poplar, alder, stone fruits, etc.) are rooted and take a long time to control.
Milling stumps is the fastest way to get rid of troublesome stumps. Unlike uprooting, the milling method is local and landscaping is easy. During excavation, underground communications can be easily damaged and pavements, parts of the foundation can be moved and the surface to be restored is large.
The blade of the fast-rotating carbide cutter cuts wood out of the ground. If necessary, the hole is filled with the same organic mass or covered with soil. You can also sow the lawn immediately. The depth of milling depends on the situation. Under normal conditions, 10 cm below the ground limit is sufficient. Milling the stumps reduces the cost of landscaping – flat surfaces are easy to mow and clean!
Milling leaves the soil in the soil, which can be smoothed out under normal conditions and covered with soil, or the milled debris can be disposed of separately. The current milling cage is initially airy and puffy, but soon begins to rot and later sinks flat to the ground. If necessary, we fill the hole with soil and we can sow grass seed immediately.
